TAM (Andean migration card)
All foreigners shall be handed the Andean Migration Card at customs upon arrival in Jorge Chavez International airport in Lima – according to Peruvian government’s tourism promoting law (DL 919) all foreigners having spent less than 60 consecutive days in Peru are exempted of paying the 19% VAT equivalent tax for lodging concepts at hotels in Peru. This document must be shown during check-in at hotels. |
